Edmund Reese was named as the new executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) of Aon, effective July 29, 2024. Reese will succeed Christa Davies, who will transition to a senior advisory role until her retirement.

“Edmund is an accomplished executive with deep financial, M&A, and investor experience and a proven track record of driving strong results,” said Greg Case, CEO of Aon. “As our next CFO, Edmund will further enhance our focus on top and bottom-line growth, disciplined capital allocation, and portfolio management.”

Reese brings over 25 years of leadership experience from large public companies in the financial services, payments, and technology sectors. He most recently served as CFO of Broadridge Financial Solutions and held several financial leadership positions at American Express. In his new role, Reese will be responsible for Aon’s finance function and capital allocation strategy. &
