Vehicle: 2026 Acura Integra

Activation: Doral Police Department Florida

Recovery: Pines Police Department Florida

Dealership: Doral Acura Florida

Doral, FL — A stolen 2026 Acura Integra valued at approximately $38,000 was safely recovered after Florida law enforcement agencies used LoJack® GPS tracking technology to monitor the vehicle in real time during a coordinated fraud investigation.

The Acura Integra was originally sold through what appeared to be a legitimate dealership transaction. After dealership personnel discovered the purchase had been completed using fraudulent information, the Doral Police Department was immediately notified and a theft report was filed. Officers quickly entered the vehicle into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), helping alert law enforcement agencies across jurisdictions to the stolen vehicle.

Investigators with the Doral Police Department Auto Theft Unit later confirmed the Acura was equipped with a dealership-installed LoJack stolen vehicle recovery system. Detectives contacted the LoJack Call Center, which provided real-time GPS location information and activated the vehicle within the LoJack Law Enforcement (LE) App.

Using live tracking data, officers identified the stolen Acura parked in a neighboring jurisdiction, prompting coordination with the Pines Police Department. Detectives and patrol officers from both agencies established surveillance, shared real-time intelligence, and developed a safe recovery strategy.

During surveillance operations, officers observed the suspect intentionally park the Acura alongside a large box truck at the end of a parking row in an apparent attempt to conceal the vehicle from view. Despite the effort to hide the stolen vehicle, LoJack GPS tracking technology continued providing accurate location data, allowing officers to discreetly monitor the Acura without alerting the suspect or initiating a vehicle pursuit.

Through a controlled and carefully coordinated operation, officers safely recovered the stolen 2026 Acura Integra without incident. The vehicle was processed for evidence and prepared for return to the dealership.

“This recovery demonstrates how real-time GPS vehicle tracking technology and strong interagency coordination can help law enforcement safely recover stolen vehicles tied to organized fraud cases,” said a spokesperson familiar with the investigation. “Because the Acura was equipped with LoJack, officers were able to maintain continuous location awareness and recover the vehicle without escalating the situation.”

As dealership fraud and organized vehicle theft activity continue to rise nationwide, advanced stolen vehicle recovery technology plays an increasingly important role in helping protect dealerships, vehicle owners, and surrounding communities. LoJack technology gives law enforcement the ability to track stolen vehicles in real time while supporting safer recovery outcomes.

What began as a fraudulent vehicle purchase ultimately ended with the safe recovery of the stolen Acura Integra — thanks to LoJack technology and the coordinated efforts of Florida law enforcement agencies.
